STAND FIRM IN GOD’S PRESENCE
We heard a great testimony from Lea about how God came through for her.
Smith Wigglesworth prophesied: "Australia you have been chosen by God for a great move of the Holy Spirit. This move of God will be the greatest move of God ever known in mankind’s history and will start towards the end of the 20th century and move into the 21st century. This move of God will start a great revival in Australia, spread throughout the whole world and usher in the second coming of Jesus. This will be the final revival before the coming of the Lord."
It all begins with an Encounter
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you”
- we have become good at teaching the power of God but not great at allowing into our everyday lives.
An Encounter impacts everybody.
Let the HOLY SPIRIT STIR YOU
2 Timothy 1:6-7
“Therefore I remind you to stir up (fan into flame) the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
God wants to use us to impact our community but He needs to first work on us.
“external reformation begins with internal transformation”
- Prioritising the Bible
- Having an active prayer life
- Making everyday choices to submit our lives to Christ.
Returning back to our first love
To the [a]angel of the church of Ephesus write,
‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: 2 “I know your works, your labor, your [b]patience, and that you cannot [c]bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; 3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. 4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.
- The enemy wants to distract us
- We worship whatever we fully focus on and are devoted to. What are we worshipping?
- Let’s stand firm in God’s presence and move toward His plan.
